Williamsburg Edge is a two-phase mixed-use development bordered by North 5th Street to the South, North 7th Street to the North, Kent Avenue to the East and The East River to the West in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. The development consists of over 1.7 million gross square feet, with approximately 1,085 market rate residential condominiums, 347 moderate income residential units, 61,355 feet of retail space, parking for approximately 650 cars, and the development of over an acre and half of open space including piers and a waterfront esplanade. Phase I is comprised of four buildings, two market rate condominium towers totaling 565 residential units, and two rental low-rise buildings totaling 347 affordable units. In addition, 60,000 square feet of retail, and below-grade parking for approximately 500 cars will be built as part of Phase I, and 35,000 square feet of open space and a water taxi pier will be constructed and deeded over to the City upon completion. Phase II will consist of the development of approximately 510 market rate condominium residential units, 1,355 feet of retail, parking for 150 cars, and over 30,000 square feet of open space, inclusive of piers and the northern portion of the waterfront esplanade.
